Jerry setup the Raspberry Pi Zero W’s to create a private wifi net, recognize QR codes vis webcam, share game message over network, read buttons, blink lights, and wiggle servos. The software and prototype hardware and 3d printed wings with harness are complete, but integration has gone on back burner.

Meanwhile the basic platform is usable as basis for other performance or installation project. Utilizing a private wifi, and running off batteries means it is not dependent on infrastructure from the gallery or performance space . It could be used just about anywhere and the basic components (message network, OpenCV camera, i2c servo board, LEDs and button) alone could support many concepts. Got ideas?

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″][et_pb_image _builder_version=”3.3.1″ src=”http://www.jbisdale.com/DiviTest/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Anouk-Stairway-shoot3.jpg” /][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section bb_built=”1″ fullwidth=”off” specialty=”off” prev_background_color=”#000000″][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”1_3″][et_pb_image _builder_version=”3.3.1″ src=”http://www.jbisdale.com/DiviTest/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/AW-Wings-testRig-4.jpg” /][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_3″][et_pb_image _builder_version=”3.3.1″ src=”http://www.jbisdale.com/DiviTest/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/RayGuns-and-Wings.jpg” /][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_3″][et_pb_image _builder_version=”3.3.1″ src=”http://www.jbisdale.com/DiviTest/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/RayGun-with-original-innards.jpg” /][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]

Jerry worked with Anouk Wipprecht on her as yet unreleased Wings project.
